I really want to do something awesome and extravagent and exciting for Valentines day! Haha, anyone have any fun/creative ideas? I would love some comment on this one :)
Good luck! I wish I had ideas to give...but I'm really bad at these type of things. Maybe that's why Ted and I really don't do anything for Valentine's Day. :)
I took a peek at the Martha Stewart Living magazine, because I was feeling the same way- and they made little cards making a heart stamp with your fingerprints. Just put ink on your finger, stamp it on the paper, ink it again and stamp it with the tip of your finger angling the other direction- so the base of the finger print overlaps and you have the two tips pointing away from each other making a heart shape.
I don't know if that makes sense, but I thought it was cute, and easy to do with kids!
i found some fun, inexpensive ideas on this blog i LOVE. check it out http://wantitall4free.blogspot.com/2009/02/frugal-living-friday-valentines-day-on.html
here's another list of traditions maybe you could steal some ideas from. http://iluvcallalilies.blogspot.com/2009/01/family-valentine-traditions.html
you could always plan with a couple friends and do a progressive dinner! each course has to be heart/love themed and everyone can decorate all lovey-dovey. that would be fun! then play some games or watch a movie after.
I'm a Mother & wife. I have three adorable children and a wonderful husband, and we just welcomed into our family on June 18th, our beautiful boy Logan! He is a delight. I love my family and love every moment I get to spend with them.
